thanks for the response, yes indeed Outbound is working, but good to know that Inbound wont work as it is a a bit confusing as the documentation says that we can use inbound. and it has different senderTypes like Inbound and Integration but none worked except Outbound.

Sorry, I thought I tested it the other day with Inbound, but that was probably the other email API.
You need to set it to Outbound.
Technically it's always an outbound message from Genesys, even though you can send it to an address in Genesys.
