    On the features coming soon page, I noticed that you can approve time off requests based on a agents hire date. We are excited to use this new feature but don't have agent hire dates within Genesys. How do we get agent hire dates to show in Genesys?

    Hi Allison,

    The Hire Date is part of Admin > People, there is an sub-menu "Optional Fields". When this field is expanded, there is the option to add a hire date to the employee record.

The hire date is simply exposed in the time-off list as an optional column that you can utilize to filter/sort. Hire date is set on the user's Directory profile.

    That process seems to work for adding hire date to new employees, but is there a way to add hire date to the existing employees without recreating them?

    You can use the bulk import with a csv file to update existing users and include the hire date. You just need to make sure you also include existing information for some of the fields. If the .csv file includes empty "phone_work", "extension", "title" or "department" columns, the blank fields override existing fields in Genesys Cloud. So you will need to make sure those are populated as well.
