We are looking to use the External Contacts capability of Cloud CX to contain core information about a customer relationship, which will be synchronised to an external data source, with similar outcomes to a CRM like model.
However to do that we need to be able to attach a current External Contact to an External Contact's Organization, and also remove the association as well.
At present in Cloud CX, it is possible to associate an existing Contact to an organization, or create a new one, based on the following:
How can this be done through an API call, and which API?
Additionally, how can a contact which is attached to an Organization object be detached from that organization, programatically. There does not appear to be a detachment button, similar to the above.
In short, is there an API that will enable programmatically link of an existing External Contact record's GUID to an External Organizations GUID, and if so what is it? At the same time is there a separate method available to perform a detachment as well...
