Genesys Cloud - Main

hi,

Our PureCloud customer is servicing (as it is an e-commerce service provider) several customers; they are now ramping up their business and have already two companies for which subdomains have benn created.

But found that it is not possible to have more than two e-mail subdomains in PureCloud, as it can be found in the PureCloud Resource Center.

Note: You can only add one email domain per organization, for a maximum of two. (with 500 e-mail accounts on each)

I would like to know why is this limit present, and if it is possible to increase this number in order to be able to have several subdomains created in PureCloud to be able to service all the companies that they will be servicing with PureCloud Solution (Voice and digital channels).

It would be fine to have less e-mails accounts associated to each subdomain, but to have the subdomains number increased at least to 50.

If you contact the support they can add an extra domain.

I have an Org with 9 different domains from the same group.

This is an arbitrary limit.  Just open a ticket and have them increase to the number you need.  Takes a day or so to be changed.

As others said, we can increase it on demand. I do want to note that this is not an arbitrary limit. We have 10k domains to share across all customers so we are unable to give every single customer a large number of domains by default.
