    Hello,

    We are building a digital bot messenger on a helpdesk site that is linked from another site. We want the bot to auto open when the page is launched...How are others accomplishing this? 

    We have been testing settings from the web messenger.ready page: Messenger plugin

    But we came across this 2022 forum post suggesting an alternative: Legacy Dev Forum Posts

    Hi Nicole,

    Since this isn’t available out of the box, we’ve used Predictive Engagement (Action Maps) to prompt users and drive engagement. Although it doesn’t auto-open the Messenger, but it works well for getting users’ attention.

    Greetings Nicole!

    We also have an internal support web messenger (powered by a Virtual Agent) on our intranet. Within the script section of our html code, we added the code you referenced from the messenger plugin resource article. Since then, as soon as our support page loads, our web messenger widget automatically opens.

    Is that code working for you?
