  • 1.  automatic transfer at the close of an interaction into the PCS

    What is the best way to automatically send a digital interaction to a survey ?. I have looked into this and have created a digital bot flow however when i look to set a post flow action there does not appear to be one as there is with a voice interaction. Any ideas would be great with exactly what is required. I already have some Post chat survey questions created.

    Hello Richard,

    Unfortunately, at this time we do not have a convenient  Architect action like the Set Post-Flow action for digital interactions quite yet, I did find the following at the bottom of this Resource Center article:

    1. From the Architect home page, click or hover over the Flows menu and select Survey Invite.
      Note: If the voice survey feature is enabled in your organization, Survey Invite flows show up as Web Survey Invite flows in Architect to better differentiate the two flow types.
    2. Click  Add. The Create Flow dialog box opens.
    3. In the Name field, type a unique name for the inbound message flow.
    4. (Optional) In the Description field, add a short sentence or phrase to describe this flow.
    5. Click the Divisions list and select the division in which to place the flow.
    6. Click Create Flow. The flow's configuration page opens.

    Now, you can design the flow and configure survey invite flow settings. For more information, see Work with survey invite flows.

    I do have good some good news. I did find several Ideas that were marked as Future Consideration, Under PM Review, and Upcoming Development in the Product Ideas Lab. I would recommend taking a look at those and voting/commenting on the Ideas that you would like to see be prioritized by our PM team.

    I had some long conversations with Prod and developers, but we could not come up with a way to do this even using triggers, Workflows, Data Actions for API calls...just not there.

    Web Survey is the best method.  If you are not using Genesys Cloud for Survey, you could capture the SMS number for the customer and send via SMS or WhatsApp using a trigger and workflow.

    @Robert Wakefield-Carl or @Jason Kleitz does either of you happen to have a working example of how to use the Web Survey Invite flow in the manner you suggest at the end of a Digital Bot Flow or in a Messaging conversation when an agent disconnects?

    In particular, how do you get the requisite Survey Url?

    In our implementation, we have created a separate inbound flow that calls a digital bot flow that asks the survey questions and stores them as participant data.  We then created a button in the script that our agents click INSTEAD of ending the interaction. That button simply transfers the interaction to the new flow and the survey questions are presented to the SMS or Web Messaging contact to complete.

    Does that then feed the results into the Genesys Cloud survey system to populate the system dashboards, etc?

    No.  We use PureInsights to export our GC data to a series of mySQL tables and we simply pull the responses from the appropriate table.  We have had this in place since before Genesys had the survey capabilities natively so we have kept it since it works well for us.
