    Does anyone know of a method to automatically forward a received fax to the email of the account? I was told this was on the roadmap last year but I haven't found a way to do this. 

    It seems that if a voicemail wav file can be emailed automatically, a fax PDF could have the same functionality. Three lines of code somewhere should do it.....
    • if fax received then
      • get account holder email address
      • send email with fax attachment
    How hard an this be?

    Thanks for asking about this feature. I talked to our developers and confirmed that this functionality isn't currently possible. He did say that this feature remains on the roadmap and that he would look into raising its priority.

    Wow. It's been 2 years since this is on the roadmap. We have a customer who has requested a PureConnect offer just because of lacking this basic functionality and inability to define personal contacts. It will be our first customer moving from cloud to on-premise solution :)

    At the start of 2017 we had 250+ items on our roadmap, including fax to email. We realized that we needed to do a better job of prioritizing what we would work and better communicating our plans to our customers are partners and made significant changes to our roadmap planning and prioritization process. This included reducing what we communicated on our roadmap so that customers could have much clearer guidance on our priorities. Sometimes we are still too optimistic in our planned delivery dates or get something ready for release and find a bug which requires us to do significant re-work. We also are continually improving resiliency and reliability so we can deliver the service that you should expect. I believe that we are improving but our customers opinions are far more important than my own. I want all our customers to hold us accountable. We believe is transparency and accountability. We have established quarterly product roadmap webinars and the Ideas Lab to help provide greater visibility and transparency. I know there is more we need to do to improve how we communicate and understanding how we can communicate better is an important step.

    Fax to email has not been on our formal 2018 roadmap. It is a capability that we received questions about in both our Q2 and Q3 PureCloud Roadmap webinars and included a response in the published presentation and Q&A on the Knowledge Network.

    The ability to provide fax to email support is a capability which we are considering to add but it has not been prioritized for planning. This is an Idea on this which is present on the Ideas Lab.
