    Hello everyone,

I hope someone can help us.
According to this article in the Genesys Resource Center, the data stored in the "Work phone" field can be deleted automatically if this field is left empty during a bulk import.

Article:   Add people with .csv file import - Genesys Cloud Resource Center

    • If the .csv file includes empty "phone_work", "extension", "title" or "department" columns, the blank fields override existing fields in Genesys Cloud.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way.
If this part remains empty in the import csv, the existing entry is not changed. Only if characters are actually present in the import will they be adopted.
However, as described in the article, we would like to remove the entries completely.

Does anyone have experience with this case?

    Best,

    Jens

Yes, according to documentation, those fields should be wiped or set to Null.  Have you tried putting a space character in those columns?  I have not been very successful with multiple imports of the same users - gets very messy.  I usually suggest only initial import or SCIM for multiple edits to users.
