Genesys Cloud - Main

Hi Community,

Over the past month I've been evaluating a BYOC Carrier and have run through various test cases. Today we have Genesys on prem and we are in the process of moving to the cloud. 

In our current state we have a SBC on prem with a trunk out to Genesys cloud and the SBC is between us and our enterprise voice solutions. We our looking to decom our current Contact Center SBCs and shift traffic over to the BYOC vendor, but we'll still have an on prem SBC for our enterprise voice services. 

For the contact center SBCs we have reviewed the Header Manipulation rules, reviewed calls flows between Enterprise and Contact center (Primarily direct endpoint to endpoint calls) as well as tested a variety of all scenarios

I don't see any major issues at this point, but I do have concerns with potential for calls hair pinning via Genesys cloud to on prem, but again I reviewed the calls and we don't really see this flow today. 

Has anyone else gone through an evaluation? What have you learned? Any major blockers?

Hello Jason,

It sounds like you have done a lot of research on this so far and are well prepared. While I can't speak on the best implementation strategies, I'd love to hear if the rest of the Community has any input on their setup.
