We have noticed a recent call line identity appearing on customers phones with our outbound numbers. I have researched it as much as I can for our country (New Zealand) and while i have been advised its not on the carrier level it seems that smart phones are actually getting smarter with firmware updates.
I am thinking that with the power of AI smart phones are using the in-built assistants to gather the information from the web in-turn identifying a potential threat/scam number calling customers.
Its always good to check online for your call center number to see if there are any reports of suspicious activity reported by your end receivers.

Subject: Call Blocker Apps and the New FCC rule
Hi all,
I just wanted to check with everyone out here and see how you are dealing with Call blocker apps that are blocking your phone numbers. We seem to come across higher than normal this year with all the new sophisticated application out there such as Nomorobo and Robokiller. There was also a new policy with the FCC that allows phone carriers to block numbers on their end without the user having to opt-in.
Thoughts on that everyone?
