Hi all,

I've seen on the last release you've introduced on Architect "Call Data Action".

Could you please give any details about this feature?

What is one scenario that I can apply with this?

What is the difference between Call Bridge Action and Call Data Action?

HI Stefano. Call Data Actions retrieve information from the new Salesforce data actions integration, which runs as a PureCloud service, rather than on a PureCloud server. Data actions are the newer better version of bridge actions. The main benefit is that you don't have to set up a bridge server.

If I need to retrieve informations from Pure Cloud, Can i use this instead using Bridge Action?

I use a custom attribute with the bridge server but I don't see how I can use it with the call data action. Is it possible ?

The Salesforce actions are just the 1st wave of data actions. The rest of them, including custom actions, will be released in the future.

What I meant is that with the bridge server and the salesforce intergration, I can query a custom field in the contact object. With the salesforce data action, I can't seem to be able to do that.

Which specific saleforce action? Can you attach a screenshot of the bridge action in architect and what you're looking at?
