CALL ERROR A dial plan entry was not found for an outgoing call attempt.

    Hi 

    This a new development using Genesys VM EDGE, but when try to make call always failed and appear below error

    CALL ERROR

    A dial plan entry was not found for an outgoing call attempt.


    even though outbound routes have been made, and simulate calls are also normal
    has anyone ever experienced something like this

    Hi Hussein,

    This could be caused by different factors but I saw that you went ahead and opened a case with Product Support. I also read that even after the EDGE was rebooted, the same issues still persist.

    At this point, It will be best to see what the engineer's findng are friom the submitted interaction IDs in order to determine where the failures the are happening.

    Hi Husein,

    Does the error occure every time or with some telephone numbers? I had a similar problem with too long numbers while doing national calls. These long numbers did not fit to the standard  E.164 used by PureCloud Voice.

    Yes this error every time, event call between user.

    So for your case only for some telephone numbers ?

    Hi Husein,

    yes, in my case the error only occured when the called number was too long. In your case, i guess, the support will have to check your dial plan. Obviously it is not configured correctly, if the error occures every time.

    I know this thread is a little old now but I would also be interested to hear what resolved this as am also experiencing similar issue.

    Number Plan is in place, calls pass on the simulator, same with all calls/number lengths and all variations of the number plan, phones associated with the correct site where the number plan in question is associated etc... No edges in this deployment though.

    Are you dialing in non e-164 format? If not then it may be normalizing the number and putting the country code based on site location.

    This is happening prior to number plan processing.
