    I encountered this warning for an outbound campaign:

    The campaign "Campaign Name" with contact list "Contact List Name" was throttled because it processed too many contacts consecutively that could not be dialed (this usually indicates a misconfiguration, such as a misconfigured callable time set or DNC list)

    what implications does this throttling have?
    is it possible to know the parameters for which it performs this action? e.g. after how many contacts

    Export the contact list for that campaign and look at the system disposition that was assigned to the skipped contacts. It will give you more context as to why they were skipped, which will hopefully point you in the right direction as to what the problem is.

    Hi Blake, thank you for your reply

    The evidence and the reason why they were skipped is clear (many contacts are in DNC list) but I don't understand by which logic Genesys Cloud performs the campaign throttling

    e.g. after 100 contacts resulting ON DO NOT CALL LIST a throttling is performed which stops the campaign for 5 minutes

    Hey Sergio, I am not sure of the exact parameters, but the documentation states:

    Campaign throttled  

    The system throttled the campaign because the campaign requested contacts too quickly. Possible cause:

    • The campaign rule skipped many contacts in a row.

    It would be my guess that you have way too many contacts that are also on the DNC list, in concurrent order. Might be good to clean up that list?
