  • 1.  Can I create a new Activity Code category for Unplanned time Off

    I know that I can make an activity code, link it to the Time Off category, and designate it as Unplanned.  But, am I able to create a new activity code catagory specifically for Unplanned Time Off?  I'd like to be able to see the breakdown in the Activity count on the Scheduls tab.  Having them all grouped in Time Off is greatly misleading.  Most of these are lates, not approved time off, but the counts don't tell you that.

    Hi Gina, 

    at the moment there is no way to create new Activity categories, this has historically been due to the interdependencies of how Workforce Management, Presence and Analytics data interact.

    There is an idea in the ideas lab, Ability to view time in each Activity Code by interval or daily total in one screen that might help see the information that you are looking for. Please take a look, upvote and join the conversation on the idea to help us with future feature enhancements.

    I have gone to the idea and votes, although I am concerned no one will look at it because it has been catagorized as already being a feature, which does not seem accurate.

    I have changed the status back to Community review and reallocated it to the scheduling space.
