  • 1.  Can we modify the number format of all outbound calls ?

    Hi,

    The number sent by Purecloud on outgoing call is with E164 format (for example: +3XXXXXXXX)

    Can we add adaptations or address transformations in order to modify the number format (in external trunk) from E164 format to national format like 0123456789 ?

    If so, what is the expression to be used ?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi,

    Yes, you can use regular expressions to transform the number sent on an outbound call. There is a limitation of three rules for the calling and called number, but this is enough for most of the companies.

    There are some examples here:

    Hi Mostafa

    Yes its possible.Just by using the Match type as Regular expression and define the number format and normalize the number to the way you want the system to initiate the call.

    For example;

    The Number dialed is 00966512345678 (local ksa format) - Match expression would be - ^(00)(966)(5)(\d{8})

    And the Normalized expression i.e., the system will dial 0512345678 -when you give - 0$3$4.

    Same way you can add these in multiple ways for landlines and international routes as well. Don't forget to add this classification in outbound routes. Simulate and check hope it will work

    Just modify and give a try
