The new feature "Update published schedule when time-off requests are approved" was released this week. While it's great to see the approved time-off requests auto-applied to the schedule, we're seeing an issue with cancelled time-off requests not auto-updating the schedule. Is anyone else seeing the same behaviour?
Since a few of our time off request types are auto-approved and therefore the schedule change is almost immediate, this is a problem if someone realizes they made an error in their time off request and needs to cancel it prior to resubmission. Further to this, the cancelled time off request doesn't send a notification to managers to update the schedule, causing us to still have to check the schedule daily for the yellow warning triangle to see if there are any manual changes that need to be made.
Am I missing something? If not, I'll have to log an idea to enhance this new feature to make it usable for us.
