Certification and Training

My GC Professional cert is due for renewal in a few months. Is there any documentation on what updates have been made in the last 2 years vs. just going through all the course material again?

I am not aware of any documentation that will just summarize all the changes in the last 2 years.  I did however find the following discussion on the community as well, not sure is this might help - https://community.genesys.com/discussion/gcx-gcp-exam-preparation-is-this-enough.

I have just gone through the recertification process - and there did not seem to be too much content aimed at the new features - maybe the course material has not yet been updated!

As a pretty regular user of Genesys Cloud - I did not do any specific preparation - just familiarised myself with some of the lesser used parts off the course material - like telephony setup, and passed comfortably.

As for 100% - I doubt anyone would ever get it - as there are several questions in there that ask for weird things that you are sooo unlikely to remember - but thankfully very few of them!

You can consider the exam format as it changes very little; I took mine recently and didn't see any difference compared to two years ago.

Depending upon the changes. In past major changes are done at UI Level and Navigation. You must have a look while doing preparation for the exam.

I renewed mine a few weeks ago, there no "super brand new" questions about the recent features, so i believe you will be fine, just make a few simulation tests and you will rock!

Always consider reviewing all documentation; at least in my case, I find it very helpful because there are details in study materials that we don't use frequently in our daily routine, and these can sometimes be the subject of exam answers! Good luck!!

I'm planning to renew my certification recently as well, and my approach will probably be to follow the current guide as if it were my first certification.

I see it as a good opportunity to review the features I don't use as much in my day-to-day work, and also to reinforce the concepts and best practices related to the areas that are already more present in my routine.

I'm also paying extra attention to the interface, because it has changed quite a lot since my last certification. So, for me, going through the guide again feels like the safest way to avoid relying only on previous experience.
