  • 1.  Changing the reply-to for emailed reports

    Hello, 

    Is there any way to change the "Reply-To" of the email address Genesys sends reports from? We have a central reporting group that runs reports for all of the teams and emails them to each user. The email that comes in says something like "User has sent you a report as an attachment to this email". We would like this to be a bit more unified since it comes from a specific team. Currently the email is sent from a do-not-reply email address, which is pretty standard, but we would like the ability to have replies go to a different email address that the entire team shares so we can get replies in one location. This is helpful in case someone is out of the office. 

    Ideally, the supervisor would receive a email that says "Aaron has sent you a report" and if they have a question or find a problem with the report they can reply to the email and it will go to our central reporting email that anyone on the team can access. Does Genesys support this feature?

    Unfortunately, the answer is no.  Even if you use a 3rd-party SMTP, it still sends out those notifications and reports outside of the setup in the ORG.  Here is the idea being tracked for this.  Add your vote and use case.  Support use of custom SMTP domain for | Genesys Cloud Ideas Portal (aha.io)
