Morning All,

We have been told by Genesys that the ChromeOS Screen Recording App has now been delayed until 2025.

As a business we are heavily browser app based and are still having ro rely on a Windows and VDI to ensure that Screen Recordings are captured using GCBA, which as you can appreciate from a licencing and hardware persective is costly.

I am being challanged on if there are any interim solutions which can be used to:

• Record Screens in ChromeOS
• The App can listen for an Event to Start Recording
• The Recording can be pushed to Genesys Cloud Storage and Linked to the conversation / audio

I would appreciate anyones thoughts on this matter.

Hello Phil, 

Unfortunately using the windows VDI is what you have to do until this feature is released. I tried looking for something specific in the appfoundry but came up short. You could try looking and see if anything meets your requirements and most offer a free trial to test out.
