Genesys Cloud - Main

Does anyone know if there is a way to enforce the closing out of workspace tabs upon logout? We randomly receive user errors where they receive 429 errors or load failures and usually this happens after they log in. I'm thinking that it must be using too many api's within the allotted time and maybe this is caused by the system reloading a dashboard or other tabs they had open before they logged out the previous night. I'd like to see if force closing these tabs upon logout solves any of these problems. I could tell the users to close them out before going home each night, but users don't often remember to do these things.

Hi Dawn,

I don't think this is currently an option, but it does make a lot of sense if you are seeing users getting rate limited when logging in, due to the volume of data being loaded in the performance workspace tabs. I would recommend creating an idea on Genesys Cloud Product Ideas Lab for this.  If you do create an idea, can you share it here so that others can vote on the idea

If this is a big concern for the company, I would suggest you consider using the desktop app so when you log out or close it, all is contained in that app.  I usually don't like suggest using the app since you have to keep it up to date over time, but for this use case, I can see the benefit.  For more about the desktop app:  Desktop app overview - Genesys Cloud Resource Center
