    Hi all! 

    I'm excited to announce upcoming enhancements to Authenticated Web Messaging with the introduction of Identity Stitching and Journey Support. If you use authenticated messaging or are interested in delivering more personalized customer experiences, these updates are for you! Please see the attached PowerPoint for a detailed walkthrough. 

    What's New: 

    • Messenger Configuration UI Improvements: The Authentication section in the Messenger Configuration UI now includes new text to inform users that PII data will be stored on the contact when authentication is enabled. 

    • Messenger Deployment UI Improvements: A new Identity Resolution section has been added to the Messenger Deployment UI. This section guides users to the Identity Resolution UI, where you can configure External Source and Merge settings for your deployment when authentication is turned on. 

    • Identity Resolution UI Enhancements: The refreshed Identity Resolution UI now enables users to configure an External Source and turn Automatic Merging of contacts on and off for each of their deployments. 

    These updates empower Genesys Cloud Platform to better identify and curate contacts, enabling agents and bots to deliver more personalized and context-aware interactions based on each end-user's identity.
