We're introducing a foundational upgrade to how Guides handle structured inputs, making variable capture clearer, more predictable, and more reliable.
Richer Variables brings stronger support for common structured data like dates, numbers, identifiers, and lists, along with more consistent validation and the ability to use internal, Guide-scoped variables without expanding the Guide-to-VA contract.
The focus is on improving correctness and establishing clean boundaries, so captured data behaves consistently and can be trusted in downstream logic - reducing the need for brittle patterns or defensive authoring.
This work is additive and non-breaking: existing Guides will continue to run as they do today, with new capabilities available in Guides v2.
