    Hello,

    1) In case of a configuration of 2 Edges : The fact that they are in 2 different subnets, with 2 different IP levels 138.21 & 138.10. 
    --> This will cause a problem or not ?


    2) The softphone I am using doesn't allow to set the IPs of 2 Edges, I can specify only the IP address of The Edge 1.
    --> So, if the Edge 1 falls, the streams are not redirected to the Edge 2 because I didn't specified the IP address of Edge 2 ?
     
    in other words, how to make sure that when Edge 1 falls, the softphone detects automatically and switches to Edge 2 to avoid losing calls ?

    There is no problem if you have different network ranges for the servers. The Edge servers can also be hosted at different locations, you just have to make sure the connectivity between sites is ok.

    Instead of the IP address, you can have a DNS name for provisioning. The DNS server can use a single DNS entry to resolve the IP addresses of both Edges.

    The other thing you need is the DHCP option 160, this provides a URL with the DNS address name and port for the Softphone to discover an Edge server as a provisioning Server.
