Thanks for reaching out. The left-hand pane serves as the navigation window for learning assignments. A green checkmark indicates that you've reviewed that particular piece of content.
In your case, it looks like the assignment only includes assessment questions. However, some modules may also contain reading material. The checkmarks help you track what you have and haven't reviewed as you work through the learning.

When reviewing a question that was marked as "incorrect" on an assessment, there is still green check mark that appears next to the question (attached screenshot). What does the green check next to the question represent? It can't be related to a question being correct because it appears next to an incorrect question. Is the green check just representing that the question was answered?
