Hi Genesys Community,
We're beginning to evaluate Conversation Schemas and are looking for additional resources that may help us better understand how they are intended to be designed and used in practice.
This was announced in the April 27th Release Notes
We've reviewed the available documentation, but we're hoping there may be more detailed examples available-particularly diagrams, screenshots, videos, sample schemas, or implementation walkthroughs that illustrate:
The relationship between Conversation Schemas, Conversation Attributes, and Conversation Attribute Records
Common use cases and design patterns
The relationship between Conversation Attributes and Participant Data
How/Where we search, filter and analyze conversation attributes
We're particularly cautious about is that schemas are immutable and cannot be deleted once created. Because of that, we'd like to fully understand the design approach and long-term implications before creating anything in our environment.
In addition to conceptual documentation, a step-by-step example would be extremely helpful. For example:
Create a conversation schema.
Define the schema attributes.
Populate the attributes during an interaction.
View the resulting data on a conversation.
Search for conversations using those attributes.
Filter conversations based on attribute values.
Analyze and report on the collected data.
More detailed documentation-including diagrams, screenshots, sample implementations, recommended design patterns, and end-to-end examples-would help customers adopt the feature with greater confidence and consistency.
Any additional documentation, examples, screenshots, or implementation guidance from Genesys would be greatly appreciated.
