    How can we copy multiple Activity codes from One BU to other BUs? We have 8 BUs where we need to have same set of Activity Codes (180 code) and we would like to know how can we Copy them together from one BU to Other instead of creating them separately against each BU.

    Hi Jay,
    Thanks for your response. While using the Genesys API Explorer to copy activity codes, I noticed that it only allows copying one code at a time. I couldn't find any specific API that supports bulk copying of activity codes from one business unit to another. It's possible I may have missed the appropriate API. Could you please advise if there is a public API available that allows copying multiple activity codes at once? If yes, then can you share the API details with me.

    There is no bulk create for activity codes nor a higher-level API call to create in bulk activity codes using a BU's activity codes as a source. You'll need to have the set of activity codes from the BU you are using as the source 'in hand', then iterate over them and call the single post route per target BU. So, from your example you would fetch the activity codes and in a loop iterate over the 180 and for each one call the activity code POST endpoint for each of the eight other BUs. I'm glossing over the fact that you have to do some schema to schema transcribing (i.e., GET schema versus POST schema for activity code).

    Hi Tanima, 

    as Jay has said, there isn't currently an in-product solution to copying or creating the same activity codes across Business units. The best option at the moment is the Professional Services App, if you're not familiar with using REST APIs.

    There is an idea for this in our ideas lab:

    Copy Activity Codes to different BUs

    Please take a look at the idea and add your vote and comments. This will help us prioritise future roadmap items and feature enhancements.
