  • 1.  Copy picture from article to messenger

Hello. In messenger, when an agent consults an article from knowledge base , he can click on "copy" in order to copy/paste the article in messenger window.

If the article contains a picture, the picture is not pasted with teh text. Is there any possibility to copy/paste text + picture of the article ?

    Thanks for your help

    Catherine

Hi Catherine, I believe that this is supported but will look into it.

Have you checked that the Supported content profiles you have configured allow the media type you are trying to paste into the message is allowed?

    Hi Sam.

    Yes, it's just a picture.

You can then right click / copy tje picture and paste it in messenger.

But wh3n you just select"copy text"  only tje text is copied (ad it's written  "copy text" maybe it's normal but it's really a pitty, it should be good to be able to select the whole article.)

    Hi Catherine, I see.

There is already an idea on the ideas lab to copy the full article rather than just the copy text option: "Copy to chat" button is better to be copy not only text but also inserted image, hyper link and video.

I would recommend voting on this idea and adding your use case so that it can be considered by the product team.

    Hey Catherine,

I've got good news. That Idea is now marked as Upcoming Development! I'm not seeing any scheduled release date just yet so if you hopefully we'll see it rolled out soon.
