I set this up as an idea (
https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/ideas/CLPLA-I-1032), because like many of the export functions in Genesys Cloud (GC), only the most general "if it contains a comma" rule for formatting CSV data was followed.
If you happen to include an E.164 formatted number in a data table and export it, GC, because the number doesn't contain a comma, happily exports the number undelimited by quotes. The result "+15555550100" becomes "15555550100" and you can't use the exported data until you go through machinations to reformat the column to allow the leading "+" and included it when saving in CSV format (choose your poison in how you want to accomplish that, pre- or post-opening in Excel).
Please vote up the change... or if someone in development is watching, please fix that!
P.S. There is a similar issue with the date column with interactions if you have Windows & Excel set to use ISO data format (YYYY-MM-DD), but that's another discussion.
