I am facing an issue in datatable lookup where it is not loading a newly created datatable in architect flow. This is happening in an inbound message flow ,where same is working in in-queue message flow. Both flow & datatable is in same division . Any thoughts on this?

    Hi Jinu

Here are several things to check for your datatable lookup issue in the inbound message flow:

    1. Permissions Check (by the way)
Ensure you have the proper Architect datatable permissions:

    • Architect > Datatable > View (at minimum)
    • Architect > Datatable > All permissions (recommended)
    • Architect > Datatable Row > View and All permissions

These permissions are required for datatables to be accessible in Architect flows.

    2. Browser Cache/Session Refresh
If the datatable was just created, try:

    • Refreshing your browser or clearing the browser cache
    • Logging out and logging back into Genesys Cloud
    • Opening the flow in a new browser session

Sometimes newly created datatables don't immediately appear in the dropdown due to caching.

    3. Flow Type Differences
Different Architect flow types (inbound message flows vs in-queue message flows) may have different feature sets or timing in how they load resources. In-queue flows are built into inbound/outbound flows and have a different feature set, which might explain why behavior differs between these flow types.

    4. Division Access
Even though both the flow and datatable are in the same division, verify:

    • Your user role has access to that specific division
    • The datatable is truly saved and published in the correct division
    • There are no additional access restrictions on the datatable

    5. Datatable ConfigurationConfirm:

    • The datatable has a properly configured Reference Key label
    • The datatable has been saved successfully
    • There are no errors when viewing the datatable in Admin > Architect > Data Tables

If these troubleshooting steps don't resolve the issue, this may require deeper investigation where do I recommend opening a case with support.
