Hi @Brian Dupuis,
I have a customer who wants to setup the registry to disable the geolocation pre installation.
"To enable geolocation, you can create a DWORD under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Interactive Intelligence\Purecloud\Directory\GeolocationPermission and set its value to 1."
Would setting the above key to '0' effectively disable the geolocation features and avoid the popup?
Their next question was whether it's possible to force a specific language or dialect. Could you confirm if this can be configured in the desktop application?
They're working with a tight timeline and plan to roll this out to all users next week, so your confirmation would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Kind Regards,

Hi Marija,
According to the document, the keys you're using to set the region should be in HKEY_CURRENT_USER. Those keys aren't supported in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. The only key supported under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE are for disabling checking for updates.
To enable geolocation, you can create a DWORD under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Interactive Intelligence\Purecloud\Directory\GeolocationPermission and set its value to 1.
There's no supported way to preconfigure the orgname.
