  • 1.  Desktop App Crashing When Locking Computer

    We use the Genesys desktop app and are on the latest version 2.43.829.0. About a month ago, we had one user comment that the app was closing\crashing when locking their computer. After logging back in, the app was no longer running and needed to be restarted. I thought the incident was isolated until three others said they were seeing the same issue. I have uninstalled\reinstalled the app, tried a repair on the app and rebuilt the user's Windows profile without success. I do have a ticket open with our vendor and they suggested doing a system restore since the other suggestions failed. Any other users experiencing this and know of a less intrusive fix?

    Hi Steph,

    This would really need to be investigated by the Genesys Product Support team to understand what is causing the app to crash.  There was another thread recently about the app crashing, that had some useful info on it, but it was not specific to when locking the computer: .NET crash 2.43.829
