    Hi,

    Is there a way (via permission ?) to prevent users from uploading a picture of their choice as profile picture ?
    One of our customers is annoyed by people overwriting the original AD synched picture.
    As far as I know, you can do as soon as you have the employee role.
    Is there something on the roadmap in this area ?

    No, you cannot remove just that permission. It is tied into the General>Employee permission, and if you remove that from the user they cannot log in to PureCloud.

    Most likely something in this one:
    General  Employee

    If you remove that and give them these, they should only be able to view and not edit anything on the profile:
    Directory  userProfile  View
    Directory  User  View

    There is no way to prevent the upload of a new profile picture.

    I've tried to use this workaround sometime ago. It prevents the profile name change, but the CSR's still can change the profile picture.

    I've just been advised that the permissions 'Directory  userProfile  Edit' and 'Directory  userProfile  View' have also been deprecated - and there is no way to remove edit access to the User Profile.

    Users are able to make any changes to their profile - including changing their own name and removing/changing their own DID and extension.
