    Hi All -

    Is it possible to disable the 'Automatic Updates' for hardware Edges? If not ...
    • what is the smallest 'window' (Start/Stop time) than can be specified?
    • can we guarantee that the software would be updated within this window?

    Hi Malcolm, after a defect in an update earlier in the year I asked Genesys whether we could turn off updates or at least turn them off for one site but was told no, only Genesys dev/care could do that and I don't know if it could be done on an org level or only regionally. 

    As far as I recall the start/end times must be at least 2 hours apart.

    Thanks Vaun - we also had issues with a couple of Standard v3 Edges to which we had to apply a Kernel/OS upgrade, hence our query about having a bit more control / visibility.

    Have you seen any blog from Genesys re: software updates, similar to fortnightly application / feature updates?

    hi malcom and sorry to bring back an old post.
    We are currently having edges that seems to be having some issues and a kernel/os upgrade was mentioned by care.

    Did your edges had some kernel panic issues? it's the upgrade worth it? was the update difficult?
