Just trying to understand the implications of someone running a PATCH on a conversation/call potentially days after the interaction ended.  I seem to recall the batch process used to run nightly getting the data over into the Analytics datalake.  What I need to understand is does that job only look for interactions with an end date of the current date?  Or if I update a conversation using a PATCH will it know that conversation is already in the Analytics datalake so update it correctly?

Hello Vaun!  Can you give me the specific API call you're making to update the data?  It likely will update after a nightly data update, but it could depend on what data you're updating.

The underlying architecture does reprocess all events for a conversation to rebuild it every day.  We're making changes to the architecture via https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/ideas/ANLS-I-990 but we'll still always process new events for a conversation.  A PATCH to a conversation should create a new event for that conversation and its changes would take effect once the nightly job runs.
