Hi, I'm new to Genesys and am trying to setup a simple call demo. I've followed all the instructions in the documentation to create this demo, outlining the steps below:
- Admin-> Genesys Cloud Voice -> Number Management: Purchased new phone numbers
- Admin -> Telephony->Sites: Create a site and configure it to use Cloud Media Services for WebRTC phones, created a base setting and assigned the base setting to this site
- Admin > Telephony > Trunks > External Trunks: verified that the PureCloud Voice - AWS trunk is in service
- Admin ->Telephony->Phone Management->Phones: setup a webRTC phone and assigned it to myself
However the status of the phone is non-operational with the specified reason being that no edge is assigned to the site. I'm stuck as I have no way to actually create an edge given that I am using Genesys Voice Cloud.
