From what I found, Genesys Cloud doesn't natively provide attachment encryption for outbound emails. The accepted answer in the community suggests using a custom SMTP server (or another secure email gateway) to handle outbound encryption:

The Resource Center also notes that while conversations are encrypted in transit and at rest within Genesys Cloud, once an email leaves Genesys Cloud, encryption is not guaranteed. If encrypted email delivery is required, Genesys recommends using your own SMTP server:

I couldn't find anything specific around encrypting both inbound and outbound attachments while maintaining threaded emails, so hopefully someone from the community who has implemented this can share their approach.
