Genesys Cloud - Main

Genesys is proud to announce the imminent release of the ability to leverage external events within Journey Management to extend the reach of journey analysis beyond those events that are captured through Genesys Cloud.

This means that now customers can:

1. Leverage 3rd party digital events to measure digital containment and marketing attribution
2. Complement Genesys voiced and digital survey capabilities with partner survey providers such as Qualtrics
3. Measure conversion from service to purchase by integrating point-of-sales data

This requires the previously released External Event API  March 23, 2026 - Genesys Cloud Resource Center which onboards events to Genesys Cloud.

As a follow up to this API-first release, we are adding an External Event Administration panel to Journey Management! This feature is scheduled to be released this month. Please be sure to watch the release notes as well as this space! This will make adding, managing, and tracking external events that have been onboarded to Genesys Cloud to Journey Management easier. We anticipate that this feature will be released to all starting July 20th, 2026.
