  • 1.  Extraxt information to variable from email

    Hi,

    preparing for migration from Engage, and did not found in GC solution how to extract some info from email body or subject. As for example I need to look for some request id in emails. This request id is in strictly described format. I was using regex for that.

    Any Ideas how to do that? Directly in architect or using Data Actions?

    Hi Vidmantas

    At this time, architect does not support regex in inbound email flows, there is an idea on the Genesys Cloud Product Ideas lab: Architect - Regular Expression support for Architect inbound email flows I would recommend voting on the idea and adding your use case.

    Hopefully someone else in the community can help with alternatives to getting the information required out of the email.
