    Hey All

    For some reason, we have a few users who get the following error when trying to save tasks into salesforce. 

    failed to save an interaction log for tel:+xxxxxxx due to a salesforce error

    It does not happen on every call but happens enough for our agents to bring it to our attention. 

    Any ideas?

    This is covered in this troubleshooting article: https://help.mypurecloud.com/articles/failed-to-save-interaction-log/.  I would look at the reasons/resolutions offered in the article, and if you're still unable to resolve your issue, open a ticket with Genesys Cloud Care.

    Hello Richard we had this issue in the past and found that it was usually permissions issues on fields you are mapping within the manage package. A good way to find the root cause of the issue is in your browser window hit F12 to bring up browser console. If it is a permissions issue then browser console will give you the field it is erroring on and you can fix it.​
