    hello dears,

    I'm writing to you to report a technical issue that iam facing now.

    I have created  a Windows Server 2012 R2 VM on Vmware esxi to install genesys virtual edge on it.

    after running the installer and creating Edge VM into Hyper-V, Hyper-V couldn't start the Edge VM giving me that error "failed to start virtual machine 'RayaEdge' because one of the hyper-v components is not running".

    I'm looking for your support solving this issue.

    kindly find below prtsc for the error.

    Hi Mohammed,

    You mention running inside a VMware ESXI. That is not supported. The Windows 2012 Hyper-V server must be a bare metal server rather than Hyper-V inside VMware.

    In addition VMware Edge will be deprecated in November 3rd 2023 and will stop working altogether in May 2024.
