  • 1.  Fax and RightFax

    We have a customer migrating to Genesys Cloud and would like to integrate their RightFax Server to Genesys Cloud.   I have read on an old post that Genesys Cloud only supports T.30 and not T.38.  Is that still true?   Has anyone integrated their RightFax Server to Genesys Cloud, and if so how did you implement that integration.

    Hi Martin,

    Did you get an answer for your question .

    Asking coz even our client is considering integrating RightFax server to GC . 
    Are there any limitations to GC faxing capabilities ?
    Hoping to benefit from your experience on the same ..

    Hi Martin,
    I am looking on a similar requirement where we need to integrate with Rightfax.
    Were you able to integrate with Rightfax or any other fax server ?

    Sorry for the late response.  I just returned from holidays.  We never did complete the integration to Rightfax, the customer decided to keep Rightfax as a standalone solution and not integrate to Genesys Cloud CX.

    Hi Martin,
    Thanks for your response ! We are currently considering the integration to Rightfax though. Any pointers as to why you decided to use it as a standalone solution would be helpful .Were there any challenges in the integration (from complexity / feasibility or any other  point of view )?

    There was no particular reason the customer did not go forward.  They were planning to decommission the Rightfax next year so they thought it was not worth the effort.
