When you have built a new flow and have made some changes there is no function to test what you have built unless you press "Publish". It would be a really nice feature if you could have a virtual phone where you can test the IVR without publishing it.  If we also add which time and date we can also verify if f.eg. out of business hours or date/time expressions works.

This would speed up the building of the IVR and reduce the risk of doing something wrong.

In the example below we want to test the regex code if we get a true or false.

Another solution would be that we could connect a phone number to the Checked In version and not the Published one.

Tobias, that functionality has already been built, and is going through some final polishing before it is made Generally Available.

Our contact centers are located in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. So this function will not help us at the moment. Most of the functions are unfortunately not supported by the Nordic languages. Even the basic functions such as time and place in queue.

Note: Currently, the debug feature is available to English language-only flows. If you debug a flow with additional languages, or languages other than English, the flow will not debug properly.

I have another idea.  We have ability to "copy" a flow.  Open your 1st flow (calling this one RealFlow) for edit.  Under the save button options, choose to export the flow.  Next create a 2nd flow, call it CopyFlow.  Under the save options choose import.  Use the dialog that opens to find the exported copy of RealFlow.  It should be in your downloads folder.  Now you can test the changes you would like to make in CopyFlow.  You can set up a 2nd IVR that uses CopyFlow so you can call and hear your changes.  When you are satisfied with your changes, export CopyFlow, import it into RealFlow, & publish RealFlow.
