    Hi Kim

I did my outbound exam last year and did the following:

    1.  Used the self study guide and completed the labs.
    2.  Then I focused on the Outbound certification study guide and the topics mentioned there.

Genesys also offer practice exams now on webassessor, so I would recommend writing the outbound practice test as it might help with your preparation.

    Regards

    Hi Kim,

I took the exam last month, and Stephan's recommendation is totally valid. Reading the self-study material and doing the labs should be enough, as long as you pay close attention.

From what I remember, it is worth understanding these points well:

    Campaign type / dialing mode
Helps with questions about Preview, Progressive, Predictive, Power, Agentless, and External Calling.

How the Contact List works and its limits
Helps with questions about columns, phone numbers, unique identifiers, duplicates, and using the same list.

    How the DNC List works
Helps with questions about blocking contacts, expiration, and do-not-contact rules.

    Understanding diagnostic and audit.
Helps differentiate between the Campaign Dashboard, Event Viewer, and Audit Viewer.

    Understanding Roles, Permissions, and Divisions
Helps with questions about permissions, security, and access to objects.

    Memorizing some key numerical limits
Helps with questions about maximum values, defaults, and configuration restrictions.
Note: As I mentioned, these are just some points I remember, and there are many questions, so use this only as additional information.
