I have been looking at the different practice tests out there, which one(s) does the group recommend? I have heard that the test is heavier on use case/business scenarios versus definitions.

    Hello, @Stephen Grooms.

I recently took the exam, and from my experience, I would not focus only on memorizing definitions.

There are many questions where you need to understand the use case and choose the best feature, view, or configuration for that scenario. So I would recommend studying the official material with attention to how each feature is applied in real situations.

I would also pay special attention to reporting. Knowing the report/view names, what each one is used for, and what kind of data you can get from them is really important.

Unfortunately, the webassessor doesn't have a practice exam for GPE and GPR yet.

    Hi Stephen ,

I recently prepared for the GCX-AI-GPE (Predictive Routing & Predictive Engagement) exam, and my biggest recommendation is to focus on the official Genesys Beyond training modules first. The certification blueprint is heavily aligned to those courses, especially Predictive Routing setup/configuration, performance reporting, Action Maps, customer journeys, and analytics.

Regarding practice tests, I've found they are useful for identifying knowledge gaps, but don't rely on them exclusively. The exam is designed to validate your ability to apply GPR and GPE in real business situations, not just recall definitions. Many candidates report that scenario-based questions are a significant part of the exam, which matches the published exam objectives.

    My study approach would be:

    • Complete all recommended Genesys Beyond courses.
    • Understand when to use Predictive Routing versus traditional queue/skills-based routing.
    • Learn how to interpret benefit assessments, comparison tests, KPIs, and reporting results.
    • Be comfortable with GPE use cases such as Action Maps, visitor behavior tracking, and engagement strategies.
    • Focus on the business outcome being requested rather than memorizing feature definitions.

If I had to choose between memorization and understanding use cases, I'd spend 80% of my time on use cases and configuration scenarios. That's much closer to how the certification evaluates knowledge.
