  • 1.  GC SMS Toll free number to support inbound Voice and Inbound SMS

    We have a specific requirement, that when we send an SMS, we need to make sure that the TFN, that is displayed on the persons phone is the same as the Inbound TFN for Voice..  Is that doable for GC SM purchased numbers or if not, any other options available, like make sure that the inbound Voice TFN is displayed..  This us required for USA..  Thanks

    I would suggest porting the TFN to Genesys Cloud Voice and then asking for that TFN to be one-number enabled.  Then it is one number for both voice and SMS.

    Robert, thanks for your quick response..  The TFN in question, is already a purchased GCV SMS TFN..  Having the TFN, one number enabled is that thru Care and a ticket process..
