  • 1.  GCX-GCP Exam Preparation – Is This Enough?

    Hi all,


    I'm preparing to sit the Genesys Cloud CX Professional Certification (GCX-GCP) exam and wanted to sanity-check my preparation approach with those who've taken it recently.

    I'm currently planning to study the following:

    • Genesys Cloud: Implementation
    • Genesys Cloud: Contact Center Administration
    • Genesys Cloud: Reporting & Analytics
    • Hands-on platform review (queues, routing, roles, reporting views, etc.)

    For those who've recently passed the exam:

    • Is this preparation sufficient?
    • Were there any specific areas you found more heavily weighted?
    • Any topics you wish you had reviewed more deeply before sitting the exam?

    Appreciate any guidance or insights you can share.

    Hi!

    That should be enough, especially when you have had hands-on experience. For me when I did the exam for the first time the implementation part needed some reviewing as I mostly had hands-on experience with an already implemented organisation and I implemented GCX only a few times before that.

    I'd echo Jeroen, implementation is a decently sized part of it. For me, using it daily for a little while now was the best preparation. The parts I could have reviewed more would be things that we do not use as frequently or at all as an organization; WFM was particularly memorable in this regard. Other than that, it was standard multiple choice, no simulation-based questions like you might see in other certifications. Best of luck!
