I also took the GPE & GPR exam and missed passing it only by a couple questions. I agree, this one was a lot tougher. If you can get through the test exams with a >90% score across the three topics, you'll find similar questions on the actual exam about 50%. The rest can be made up by performing the hands on lab and reviewing the end of chapter/end of course topic list. 70% is needed to successfully pass the exam and earn your cert for that respective topic (used to be 65%). The nice thing about Genesys Cert Exams - they are not adaptive tests, meaning if you stumble on a topic, you get more questions on that topic.
For the actual exam, I read the question, look at the answers then read the question again. Slowing your brain down a bit will help avoid making mistakes. Also, if you don't know, eliminate the answers that are not correct. This test taking strategy helps me navigate through the exam.
Happy studying!

Thanks for sharing Michael! I'm planning to get this certification in the next month, but to be honest I didn't feel that the the end-of-chapter & course questions were similar to the exam when I took the GPE & GPR certification. Hope that the GCP is diffirent.

I've gone through the GCP almost 2-years ago and again in January and the exam didn't "feel" like there was anything new. It is one exam that spans the three topics you mentioned (Implementation, Contact Center Admin & Reporting & Analytics). Our team found these practice exams which gives anyone a good stance where they are strong/weak at. The following practice exams works similar to the actual exam. In comparison, the actual exam questions vs these 'sample' questions show up about 50%. I'd recommend reviewing the end-of-chapter & course questions, review the lab & use these practice exams.

Subject: GCX-GCP Exam Preparation – Is This Enough?
Hi all,
I'm preparing to sit the Genesys Cloud CX Professional Certification (GCX-GCP) exam and wanted to sanity-check my preparation approach with those who've taken it recently.
I'm currently planning to study the following:
- Genesys Cloud: Implementation
- Genesys Cloud: Contact Center Administration
- Genesys Cloud: Reporting & Analytics
- Hands-on platform review (queues, routing, roles, reporting views, etc.)
For those who've recently passed the exam:
- Is this preparation sufficient?
- Were there any specific areas you found more heavily weighted?
- Any topics you wish you had reviewed more deeply before sitting the exam?
Appreciate any guidance or insights you can share.
Thanks in advance!
