Genesys Cloud - Main

In late 2020 early 2021, Genesys decided to exit the hardware resale business and no longer sell the BYOC Premises edge devices. Genesys entered a partnership with Arrow Electronics through which customers and partners could purchase BYOC Premises edge devices built on the HPE and AdvanTech platforms. This program was then named the Genesys Hardware Solution.

In that same timeframe, Genesys launched the Customer Hardware Solution program where customers can work with their preferred hardware vendor to acquire the HPE hardware components identified in our bill of materials to build either a large or a small edge device.

As the Customer Hardware Solution has become the preferred means of acquiring hardware and the Arrow inventory of pre-built edge devices is declining, Genesys made the decision to totally move to the Customer Hardware Solution. What this means is that once the Arrow inventory runs out, Genesys will end the Genesys Hardware Solution program and focus on the Customer Hardware Solution for edge devices. Customers can leverage the Genesys AppFoundry to learn more about Arrow's options for ordering hardware using the updated Customer Hardware Solution approach along with other hardware vendors.
