We have just set up a BCP instance (we only switch calls to the BCP instance) so I can answer based on our set up
BCP Instance Switchover from Prod instance is Manual/Automatic?
The switch over is manual. Our incoming phone numbers are with Verizon and we have access to a Verizon tool that we use to switch which instance the calls are sent to (standard instance vs BCP instance). Logging in to the Verizon tool and switching to the other trunk takes less than 5 minutes.
Prod image replica (configurations, call flows etc...) to Warm instance is Manual/Automatic?
Replication is not automatic, each instance is set up completely independent of the other, Our BCP instance is a simplified version of the Standard instance and only takes and routes calls, it does not have any evaluations, schedules etc set up, it is purely a way to take calls if the main instance is down.
