Same for the taskbar icon, I presume...what about the current logo in the top left corner in desktop and Web app both?

In an up coming release, the Genesys Cloud desktop app icon will be updated to reflect current Genesys branding. There is nothing you need to prepare for this update. The update is targeted for second half of September 2025.
