    Hello Community,

    For all you folks who use single sign-on (SSO) with Genesys Cloud, you might become impacted with the expiry of Genesys Cloud's SSO certificate today. If you use the Single Logout feature and your Identity Provider supports signature verification for Single Logout requests, you will need to upload a new certificate to your Identity Provider.

    This was announced previously (see October 19 Release Notes) and most probably at some point between that announcement and today you have already taken action and uploaded the new certificates available here. If you haven't done so, or if your Identity Provider did not allow upload of multiple certificates, this is a gentle reminder for you to now take action.

    Good question, Nathan. I am unable to go to specifics, but from the scenario description it sounds like the Identity Provider will not be able to recognize the logout action. So I guess either it won't log users out completely when performing a logout action, or it might not let a logged out user log back in because the logout action was unauthenticated. All from context, so please don't quote me on this one 😅

    What is sure is that it will impact the login-logout experience. So if you are using SSO, best to err on the side of caution and update the certificates as soon as possible.
